Christa moved up to Seattle in 2006 to attend Gary Manuel Aveda Institute for Aesthetics. After working as a makeup artist for about a decade in SoCal, it was no shocker that she absolutely fell in love with all things skin / beauty related. Upon graduating at the top of her class, in 2007, she began work, not only as an Esto at a local spa but traveled nationally facilitating events and helping spas & salons create a thriving environment for clients, employees and owners alike. in 2009, when the national recession hit, she stepped back from both positions and thought about how her passions were evolving and knew she wanted to get into....waxing! After many years of working for a waxing business, in 2016, opened Bush&Ivy. A true believer in living with gratitude, kindness and the knowing that life IS what you make of it.
