Why hello there! I’m Joshua Bridger and welcome to my adventure! If you’d like to learn a little about me, feel free to read on! So what drew me to Personal Training, why did I get into it? Most of my life I've been a pretty health conscious person, and interested in how a person could take care of themselves as holistically as possible. Like most people, I had an on-again-off-again relationship with the gym, but I've been inconsistently consistent over the years. Before I became a trainer, I'd be at the gym and see Personal Trainers with their clients, and think, "I could do better". I look back on that now and realise how wrong I was and how little I actually knew about exercise in comparison to what I know now. But I think I had those "I could do better" thoughts because I was interested in being a Personal Trainer. It wasn't until a few dramatic events happened in my life that I finally decided to give this Personal Training thing a shot. In 2018 I got my Certification, and soon after I was somehow lucky enough to end up at a small gym called Exist Fitness. My first Personal Training job. I've learned so much over the years and I'd say my training style has changed drastically from when I first started. Nearly everyday I'm learning about health, fitness and exercise. Always trying to improve myself as a trainer so I can serve my clients the best way possible, catering to what they need most - whether that's lifting heavy, doing correctional or mobility exercises, or just going for a walk on a bad day - is what I'm here for. I'm not perfect, and I don't expect my clients to be either. I won't promote beating yourself up in the gym 6 days a week in an attempt to reach your goals. Helping you have a healthy relationship with exercise, with the right training and right dose, that will keep you strong and successful in the long run, is my ultimate goal.
Hi everyone! My name is Kendra, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. As a trainer, I aspire to provide my clients with a welcoming and personal experience that will guide them on the path to reaching their goals. Growing up as a dancer, I discovered how important it was for me to take care of my personal health and wellness. The unhealthy relationship I had with exercise in my past, has truly shaped me into the trainer I am today. If you desire to become the best version of yourself, I am here to motivate, support, and of course, cheer you on!
My name is Mike Watchel I have been in the fitness and bodybuilding life for thirty plus years. Through those year I was able to develop a great amount of knowledge in training and nutrition. As I am now in my 50’s I needed to learn more advanced training techniques to prevent injury and allow me to train well into my later years in life. I received my certification through Canfitpro to help me add to my knowledge and be able to assist my clients better. There is no quick fix or fad diet that are going to give you what you want, and if they do work results do not last. I believe in a training philosophy of consistency builds sustainability. I want clients to be able to take what I have taught them and have it been as user friendly as possible in their everyday lives.

Growing up I was put into pretty much any sport you could imagine: soccer, curling, climbing, rugby, trail running, football, fencing, etc. To this day I'm still involved in weekly curling leagues with my friends. When COVID lockdowns began, I turned to fitness to fill the gap left by the absence of competitive sports. What started as a substitute quickly turned into passion. Week after week I was learning more and more, allowing me to explore the various fitness niches. Over time, I prioritized strength-based movements while also learning how to train intelligently to avoid injuries. In 2024 I began powerlifting, specializing my training for the squat, bench, and deadlift. Since then I have competed in numerous meets, and don’t plan on stopping. Alongside powerlifting, I emphasize functional movement patterns to help clients move better in everyday life. I enjoy breaking down complex exercises into simple, actionable cues that make progress feel achievable. Through this process, I help clients build their confidence, translating mental discipline into physical results. My goal as a trainer is to help clients become stronger, more resilient, and more confident—both inside and outside the gym. Outside of the world of fitness, I am a fourth year astrophysics student at the UofA, working towards my bachelor's degree. I’m also a cat dad, parenting two babies each with polarizing personalities: Phil and Luna. So if you want to chat about space or cats, come and find me at the combo rack!

I’m a certified personal trainer and empowerment coach, and the owner of Good Bones Personal Training. I help people build strong, capable bodies through foundational strength training that supports both physical and mental resilience. My training style blends powerlifting fundamentals with targeted resistance training, helping clients develop real strength while building a strong mind-body connection to their movement and effort in the gym. I believe working out is a reward, not a punishment. Strength training is one of the most powerful tools we have for long-term health. It helps protect muscle and bone density, supports metabolism, and allows people to stay strong, capable, and independent throughout life. Before becoming a trainer, I spent over a decade working in the beauty industry and I’m also a mother of three, experiences that shaped my practical, real-life approach to helping people build strength and confidence. I offer one-on-one personal training, small group strength classes, and online coaching through Good Bones locally at Chop Shop Physiques.
