Bethany graduated from the Core Institute in 2011 in Tallahassee Florida, and has been practicing massage therapy for 8 years and specializes in deep tissue and sports massage. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Bethany earned a BS in Athletic Training from Carson Newman College and is a certified athletic trainer. Bethany previously worked for Dr. John Van Tassel who is the sports chiropractor for the Florida State Seminoles. She worked with a variety of sports on campus including cross country, volleyball, men’s basketball, football, baseball, softball, tennis, and mainly FSU track and field. Bethany traveled with FSU track and field from January to June from regular meets to ACC championships, Regionals, and NCAA National Championships. She obtained a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of West Florida in 2017. She uses her knowledge of athletic training to incorporate stretches and other manual therapy techniques into her massage sessions. Her goal is to get you back to your active lifestyle whether it’s playing rec league softball or training for a marathon.
