Pharmacy Contraception Service (Telephone Appointment)

NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service is a free NHS service that allows the initiation or continuation of contraceptive treatment for women without the need for an appointment with your GP.

We can provide either the combined oral contraceptive pill (16 yrs old - 49yrs old) or the progestogen only pill (16yrs old - 54 yrs old). This can then be collected from your nearest Jardines Pharmacy.

This is a telephone appointment.

Pharmacy First - Acute Sore Throat (Video Call)

This consultation is specifically for adults and children aged 5 years and over experiencing symptoms of a sore throat and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.

This consultation is specifically for adults and children aged 12 years and over experiencing symptoms of sinusitis for at least 10 days and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.

Pharmacy First - Impetigo (Video Call)

This consultation is specifically for adults and children aged 1 year and over experiencing symptoms of impetigo and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.

Pharmacy First - Infected Insect Bites (Video Call)

This consultation is specifically for adults and children aged 1 years and above and experiencing symptoms of an infected insect bite for 48 hours and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.

Pharmacy First - Urinary Tract Infection in Women (Video Call)

This consultation is specifically for adult women aged 16 years to 64 years and experiencing symptoms of an UTI and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.

Pharmacy First - Shingles (Video Call)

This consultation is specifically for adults aged 18 years and over and experiencing symptoms of Shingles and is to help determine the level of care you might need. This could result in advice being given, medication being supplied or onward referral to your GP or more urgent care.
