Jessica Schultz, (MST, PMA-CPT, Master Reiki Healer) is an educational director, movement healer, and was a Peak Pilates Level III Master Instructor and Mentor for over 10 years. She has trained Pilates instructors around the world and has presented her work at conferences such as WSSC in Miami and the Pilates Empowerment Summit. Like many instructors, she first discovered Pilates after an injury from dance. After practicing the work for many years, she decided to share what she has learned and is so passionate about – the ability of Pilates to transform not only your body, but to reshape and reform muscle movement patterns. Jessica has taught Pilates instructors and students all over the globe, including studios in Paris, France and on the beaches of Mexico and Costa Rica. While completing her Pilates apprenticeship at Geometry Pilates in the Pearl (an Authentic Pilates Studio), Jessica also concurrently completed her Master’s in Science and Teaching at Portland State University. At the university she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and she gained valuable information on education theory, Alexander Technique, and was able to work with Barbara Conable and the Coordinate Movement program at PSU. She has written and taught courses for national Pilates certification courses on subjects such as Pilates for Dancers, Pilates for Scoliosis, Pre and Post Natal Pilates, and Spinal Osteopathic Conditions of the Spine. After working as an independent instructor in Portland for over eight years, Jessica finally moved to her own space at the Eastbank Commerce Center in SE Portland in 2008. She is very excited to have a home for the unique, personalized instruction she offers in a warm and private studio environment. When not teaching at Jessica Schultz Pilates, Jessica has been featured in the Pearl Magazine, PDX Magazine, and on Telefit Television in the Dominican Republic. She was a finalist for the Pilates Anytime next Pilates Instructor in 2013 and also teaches for Oregon Ballet Theatre.
Sara's first exposure to Pilates was in a classical Pilates mat class at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California over 20 years ago. She was amazed by how grounding, fun and effective that class was to my overall well-being. Sara continued to find ways to fit Pilates training into my schedule after moving to Oregon in 2003 to raise her young family. In 2022 she began a Peak comprehensive training program because she was inspired by the skill and support of her Pilates teacher and she wanted to deepen her practice. Sara loves witnessing the ways in which Pilates serves each student to help them fulfill their goals. She endeavors to compassionately meet each student where they are in their practice and provide support to move them forward. Sara's grateful to live in such a beautiful place and in her spare time, she loves hiking, painting, reading, anything fiber arts related, visiting art museums, and dinner parties with her family and friends.
Beth has studied Pilates since 2009. An active lifestyle has always been a priority for her. When chronic shoulder pain prevented her from doing anything she enjoyed, Beth tried Pilates. After one class, she was hooked! The workout was fabulous for toning and building strength. Beth learned to retrain her movement patterns, and have much better posture. This beautiful movement system became her passion. She earned her comprehensive level 1 thought 3 certification through PEAK Pilates in 2018. She earned her comprehensive level 4 training in 2024.
