- Initial Interview
- The initial interview gives us both an opportunity to meet each other and ask any questions of each other that we may have. Interviews are free and last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. Please bring any supplements you have, as well as your insurance card, so that I can do a benefits verification with your insurance company after the appointment.
- Prenatal Visit
- During prenatal visits, I will check your blood pressure, pulse and weight each time. I will then measure your growing uterus, palpate the position of the baby and listen to fetal heart tones.
- Postpartum visit
- Postpartum appointments are scheduled for 1 day, 5 days, 2 or 3 weeks, and 6 weeks after the birth of the baby. We will weigh and measure the baby and listen to the heart tones and lungs at each visit. We will also check the vitals of the mom, ask her about breastfeeding and check the position of the uterus.
