powellem@uw.edu Emily is an investment professional and experienced program manager with a demonstrated history of building effective teams and designing innovative investment strategies to solve wicked problems. She holds a Master in Urban and Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from the University of Virginia. Prior to pursuing her MBA, Emily spent five years at The Nature Conservancy working on impact investment and private capital strategies to solve water scarcity challenges, as well as honing her expertise in water management and sustainable development. During her MBA, she was a Summer Investment Associate with Laird Norton Company, a seventh generation, family-owned investment holding company. Post-MBA, she plans to continue driving private investment in sustainability challenges with Laird Norton Company, focusing on small to middle market private equity investments. When not in school, you’ll likely find her exploring rivers in search of whitewater and trout. As a Peer Advisor, Emily loves to help students determine their new career path, use networking to their advantage, and find jobs outside of the traditional application process.

mmonsma@uw.edu Mallory is focused on marketing and technology strategy. She spent her summer interning as a Product Marketing Manager on the Mixed Reality team with Microsoft. Prior to Foster, Mallory led marketing and operations for a real estate investment and management company based in Santa Barbara, CA. When she's not working, you can find her hiking or volunteering for C4C.

adamks@uw.edu Adam is a former educator, recruiter, and social start-up leader. At Foster he serves as MBAA VP for Career Development. He is also co-president of the Foster Business & Policy Group and a board member for Foster Consulting Society. He completed his MBA internship in human capital strategy at HP.

rsingh4@uw.edu Ruchi is currently a second year student at Foster and the current President of the Foster Consulting Society. This summer, she interned in Deloitte's Strategy practice where she worked on a finance transformation strategy project for a high-tech client based in San Francisco. Ruchi began her career in Investment Banking and Client Relationship Management in New York working for hedge fund and private equity clients. Before business school, Ruchi worked at a legal technology startup where she established the Account Management team, led new product development and scaled the company. Ruchi loves boxing, trying new restaurants and traveling - next on her list is Israel in 2020. When she's not in Paccar, she can usually be found grabbing brunch with classmates in Cap Hill, or running on Alki Beach with her husband and Goldendoodle pup, Simba. Ruchi can help with resume & cover letter reviews, behavioral prep and consulting prep (behavioral & case).

pkatyal@uw.edu Pulkit is an engineer turned business professional who worked in the energy industry in the roles of an engineering consultant, project management, and sales manager. This summer, Pulkit pursued his internship as a management consultant at PwC and worked on projects with clients in the tech industry. In his first year, Pulkit utilized the peer advisor program for resume reviews and interview prep. and gained a lot from it during the recruitment season. He is extremely excited to meet the MBA class of 2021 and support them in achieving success.
