- Concussion Services
-
Sessions will last 1-2 hours, based on patient symptoms and needs. All patients should block 2 hours for their appointment. Patients are welcome to bring important others in their life to the session for support and to provide additional information.
It is recommended that patients interested in receiving services have had recent or past medical attention related to their concussion prior to scheduling a session.
Session includes evaluation, treatment, education, recommendations. Patients will leave session with plan for implementation of strategies and symptom management. A therapy services report will be provided via secure email link following the session.
Patients can schedule follow-up or additional sessions per their needs.
Cost is based on meeting patient needs within 2-hour blocked session time rather than exact minutes of services delivered.
Fees are as follows:
$20/session (university students)
$40/session (all other clients)
Payment due before or at appointment time- via cash, check, credit/debit card accepted upon arrival to clinic. Note that due to complexities of university billing, payment is due before services can be rendered.
PARKING: If you selected that you needed parking, please be sure to park ONLY in stalls in front of the building (Goodnight Hall), with parking stalls labeled "Reserved UWSHC Clinic Parking, Permit Required (Enforced All Times)" or you will be ticketed by the university. Upon arrival and check-in at the front desk of the UWSHC, you will be given a temporary parking permit to hang in your rearview mirror that needs to be returned at the end of your appointment.
