January Pickleball Private Lessons and Intro Class have been added to my Schedule. Click on the links below to see available times.
Court fees and commissions have gone up for coaches at ATPC so we will be pausing drill sessions for now due to low demand during winter. I'm hoping to bring them back in the spring.
In the meantime, I also offer private group lessons for 3+ people. The cost is:
$25/person/hr for 5 people
$30/person/hr for 4 people
$40/person/hr for 3 people
And as always, my normal private lessons are for 1-2 people. If you want a small group, you can click on the 1 hour private lessons below to see upcoming times, and reach out to me to set it up based on number of players.

NOTE: Classes that are full or do not have enough room for your group will not show up when trying to select a class. If you can't find any classes of your choice listed, then they are likely full.

Classes
- Pickleball 101 - Intro to Pickleball Class - 1.5 Hours (Public Group Class) - $45 per person

This 1.5 hour intro to Pickleball class is a public group class with others. It's Outdoors at the Austin Tennis and Pickleball Center (one of the original places to play Pickleball in Austin).
The class is meant for new players looking to learn this exciting game. We will get you playing points while learning how to score (most of the class is playing and learning while you play). This class is NOT for people that have played more than 5 times and are comfortable with the rules and scoring. Please only sign up if you are completely new or have played a handful of times and want to learn the rules/scoring better.
Pickleball is most widely played in the doubles format (2 on 2). So we will focus on learning the scoring, rules and basic positioning/strategy for doubles. I will have plenty of my paddles for you to demo at class and for sale as well. Students get $20 discount. (You can see them here on my online store: https://calvin-keeney.myshopify.com/ )
What to bring?
A good pair of court shoes are helpful (tennis or pickleball court shoes are best). A water bottle is also helpful and a paddle if you already have one (feel free to try out mine as well.)
Can I retake the class?
Yes you may retake the class if you want to become more comfortable before playing in a social setting.

This private lesson option is for 1-2 people. You can come solo or bring a friend.
Please note that my private lessons are for players that know the basic rules and scoring (or have completed my intro class before). You and your partner if signing up with one, need to know the basic kitchen rules and scoring each before signing up for private lessons (see checkbox below).
