CHOOSE PROVIDER

Hi, I'm Jesa ,the Health & Wellness Director at the Westview YMCA! My nearly 25-year wellness journey began when I reluctantly attended my first personal training session, not expecting much. What followed transformed my body, mindset, and career, inspiring me to help others on their own paths. That transformation led me to personal training, and my passion for helping others has only deepened from there. I believe people deserve to feel seen for who they are, valued for what they bring, and supported in pursuing wellness entirely on their own terms. As your Health & Wellness Director, my greatest priority is making sure every Westview member feels welcomed, capable, and empowered, whether you're taking your very first step or pushing toward a goal that once felt out of reach. I'm here to help you believe in yourself, because a job that transforms lives through wellness is worth showing up for every single day.
A trip to visit my sister in Asia is what first got me into working out, and it's changed my life ever since. I love helping others get started, wherever they happen to be. Maybe you're after strength, energy, or staying healthy for years to come - it's all worth working toward. I'll meet you where you are with training that's sustainable and keeps you pain-free. My goal is to help you build a relationship with fitness that lasts a lifetime.
I’m passionate about helping people feel healthy and confident through functional movement and mindful training focusing on long-term wellness. I enjoy coaching through the basic foundations of workout techniques such as proper form and controlled breathing and the powerlifting lifts squat, bench, and deadlift.
With over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, I bring a deep passion for helping others live healthier, more fulfilling lives. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology, as well as a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Creighton University. I truly care about my clients and take pride in supporting them wherever they are on their health journey. For me, living a healthy lifestyle goes beyond just running or lifting weights, it's about balance. That includes stretching, eating nutritious foods, and getting the restorative sleep your body needs. I enjoy helping people discover what their bodies are capable of, whether they're young and active or recently diagnosed with chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease. It takes motivation, determination, and consistency to succeed, and while the path isn't always easy, I believe every individual has the power to overcome challenges. At the Y, we believe in strengthening community, and I love being part of a team that helps individuals grow stronger—physically, mentally, and socially.
